This is a bit tangential, but do the sages have any explanation of how the sun gets from West at night to East in the morning? There is no hint in the TaNaKh that the earth is round.

I can only guess that the sun must take the PATH from Jersey City to 14th Street, where it catches the L train to Williamsburg.
