I was actually living on this street during my brief stay in this otherwise beautiful and vibrant city.

I found your blog through Daring Bakers. The street of the name gave me a chuckle: I've been to Kiev a few times while I grew up in Russia...fun memories.
all the khmielnitsolatry was rather offputting during my too-brief visit to kyiv a few years ago. streets, statues, the lot.
but i quite loved the place nonetheless, even if i did miss the honeywine at the lavras...
